of over 65 years producing and distributing uniforms and corporate apparel.
Over 75% of our inventory is custom designs, developed for grocery chains, convenience stores, quick service restaurants and safety. In addition, we have in stock polo shirts, polar fleece jackets, casual woven twill shirts and pinpoint oxford shirts that we offer to our customers.
Almost all of our products are imported and we have established a group of high quality manufacturers in several countries, including Pakistan, China, Bangladesh and the Caribbean. The best costs are obtained when we can create a complete turnkey package, ready for distribution when it arrives in our warehouse.
We offer web based direct order entry for all of our accounts at no additional cost. This gives your business real time access to our inventory and allows them to place orders and receive an email confirmation. Working with United Parcel Systems and the United States Postal Service, we have on line tracking of all shipments so our customers can see the when their orders will be delivered.

One of the services offered at Christy & Main Inc is we have all the sewing machines needed to alter or decorate your apparel as you expect from a professional apparel supplier. We have Durkopp and Singer single needle programmable sewing machines, we also have button sew and button hole machines. We have safety stitch and blind stitch hemming machines. We have Tajima and Barudan embroidery machines. This means we can hem slacks, convert long sleeve garments to short sleeve. Replace buttons or add the embroidery of your choice.
Our on-line ordering is a useful tool for store managers, we custom tailor the site to the needs of the store once corporate designates the apparel. Only the approved apparel is available on-line for the store to purchase. We also offer the same price corporate pays to the employees on the employee site. This allows employees to purchase additional uniforms if they want at the same price as corporate. Every on-line site has order history so managers can review their purchases to stay in budget. We also have tracking information for each shipment so management can know who signed for the package and when. Additionally if the person ordering puts their email address in, when placing the order, UPS will email the tracking information direct to that address. We can establish minimum order quantity so that small orders are not processed until an efficient order can be placed. We can also add spending limits so budgets can be met.
Invoicing can be handled as required by the customer. Some companies prefer weekly electronic invoices by location and other prefer hard copies mailed to the ordering location. We will accomodate the method that is best for our customer. Terms are NET 30 days.
How You Save
Today most apparel bought and sold in the United Sates is manufactured outside the country. We currently have all of our production in China and have established relationships with several top quality manufacturers. We have personally visited these factories to review their processes, certify good quality control and verify that their employees are treated well and fairly.
Customers who use 1800 to 2400 pieces of a single style per year can usually reduce their costs by 30% to 40% by signing a letter of agreement. This ensures both parties that the items will be used and allows Christy & Main to have a custom package delivered to our warehouse ready to drop ship as required. We will balance inventory as needed, and provide same day shipping as orders are received. In addition , customers costs are further reduced with this type of program because the apparel is customized (embroidered with customer logo) in China, where it is much more cost effective.
Cycle time for initial custom programs, upon completion of the letter of agreement is 12 to 15 weeks. Once inventory is in our warehouse, goods will be able to ship same day as ordered. We have at least one or more containers arriving every month so inventory is always on our shelves. In addition to custom items we maintain three different in stock knit style polo shirt product lines that are available to handle small requests and the latest automated embroidery machines to add designs and logos here in our Georgia warehouse. Normal turn time on orders placed with added embroidery is 5 to 7 business days. We are constantly looking at ways to reduce the ever-increasing UPS and FedEx costs for our customers, and as a result, we use these methods which have resulted in substantial saving. 1. Small packages are weighed and our shipping software displays all rates so we can use the best rate available. 2. Packages going to a non-business location ship by USPS saving at least $3 per package. 3. We always make sure to use the smallest sized carton possible when packing an order, as shipping costs are now based on weight and densional size. Shipping half empty cartons results in a higher dinemsional charge from the carriers. Delivery and tracking information is always available by logging into your account or if you enter an email address when placing your order, tracking information will automatically be emailed direct to you. Average transit time is 2 to 3 business days. We can also set minimum and maximum order size to prevent improperly placed orders.

Credit-approved blank/non-logoed apparel orders placed before 3PM Eastern time ship the same day. The cut-off for LTL shipments is 3PM. Orders received or approved after 5PM will ship the following day; however, we will try to accommodate rush orders. Orders are shipped UPS ground, FedEx ground or Common Carrier, unless otherwise requested. Freight, handling, insurance fees (if applicable) are added to each invoice. All goods are shipped FOB our warehouse. Any claims for goods damaged in shipment must be made with the freight carrier.

Please confirm prices when order is placed. All prices are FOB our warehouse. All prices are wholesale to everyone, resale customers require a valid vendor’s license or resale certificate. See order information for each style to receive free shipping. Free shipping does not apply to custom garment customers.
ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Orders, once entered into our system, cannot be changed. Similarly, we cannot add to orders already entered; a new order is required. Call customer service to check if your order has been packed & shipped.
Credit Cards – We accept Visa®, Master Card®, Discover®, and American Express® credit cards.
Net Terms – May be available to customers who complete the credit application. Granting of credit terms will be at the sole discretion of our Credit Department. A finance charge of 2% per month (24% per annum) will be charged on all balances beyond established terms. We reserve the right to revise or revoke credit terms without prior notice.
Returned Checks – If a check is returned for NSF, a $35 per check charge will be added to the account.
Disputes – All communications regarding any dispute of debt and/or restrictively endorsed checks issued as payment (in full) of any disputed amount must be sent to the attention of CREDIT MANAGER, Christy & Main, 1165 Allgood Road, Ste 1, Marietta, GA 30062
We collect sales tax for all shipments within the United States unless we have a tax exempt certificate.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.
